GEM tops Auto Express survey in sixth successive year of award-winning results
GEM Motoring Assist today celebrates being crowned the UK’s number one for breakdown cover in the 2013 Auto Express Driver Power Survey. The results make it the sixth successive year in which GEM has been awarded winner or runner-up status in the influential customer survey.
Breakdown cover company and road safety charity, GEM scored the highest marks in five of the six categories in the annual survey. Beating off competition from some of the biggest companies in the country, GEM scored 89% overall, including the highest percentages in the ‘Speed of recovery’, ‘Ability to fix the fault’, ‘Friendliness and helpfulness’, ‘General presentation’, and ‘Overall service’ sections.
CEO of GEM Motoring Assist, David Williams MBE comments: “We are delighted to have won the coveted top place in the Auto Express Driver Power Survey, especially as it marks a great run for us throughout the years. Having been voted number one in four of the past six years, it is something that we are extremely proud of.
“The most recent results show extremely positive feedback direct from customers, which is of huge value to us. Furthermore, many successive years of top-end results also show our long-term commitment to providing the best service possible for our members new and old.”
GEM was voted number one for breakdown cover in the 2011, 2010 and 2008 Auto Express Driver Power Surveys, and was runner up in 2012 and 2009.
