GEM tops the table of third-party breakdown providers in Which? survey
A survey of breakdown recovery providers just published in Which? magazine has put GEM Motoring Assist in number one position for third-party breakdown providers. GEM has also achieved the status of Which? Recommended Provider.
In the survey, published in the June 2018 edition of Which? magazine, respondents listed their main concern as receiving a speedy service from their provider. GEM’s record of reaching 92% of stranded motorists in less than 60 minutes put it ahead of all its rivals.
GEM chief executive Paula Williams said: “We are absolutely delighted to be in top position of the third-party breakdown providers table this year.
“Not only is our average response time below 40 minutes, something our members clearly value, but we were also very pleased to receive such a high rating for the quality of the breakdown service we provided. Our network of recovery operators received a five-star rating for their knowledge and capability.
“We have continued to make a significant investment in the way we handle calls for assistance from our members, and the aim is to continue our efforts to achieve even higher standards, so that our members always get the very best possible breakdown recovery service.”
A year’s breakdown cover with GEM costs from just £78, using the ‘recovery reclaim’ pay-and-claim service.
