GEM Voted Runners Up In Auto Express Driver Power Survey But Still Better Than The Big Boys

2008 winners GEM Motoring Assist were once again one of the most highly regarded breakdown companies in the Auto Express Driver Power Survey undertaken by 20,000 motorists in the UK, being pipped to the post by just a fraction of a point! Despite relinquishing its poll position the road safety organisation is thrilled with its success over the past two years.

David Williams, Chief Executive of GEM Motoring Assist commented, ‘We are delighted with the results and extremely pleased that the quality and capability of the customer service team at GEM has been duly recognised.’

GEM rated highly across all categories and gained a higher score in ‘value for money’ than the winner.

GEM has consistently been working to provide the best value and service to their members and have proved once again that these goals are being achieved. The strong belief in safety means that GEM’s enthusiasm leans towards the individual care of the motorist. All of this combined with a smooth running
and competent service has clearly given GEM top scores in this year’s survey.

‘We are still at the top of our game and being a relatively small company, we have proved that biggest is not always best! We look forward to regaining our No 1 spot in 2010. ’ concluded David.
