“We welcome the money in this year’s Budget which is sure to have an impact on the state of Britain’s roads. However, we warned only last week that the total repair bill is around £10 billion, and potholes continue to be one of the biggest concerns of our members. Therefore we believe the Chancellor needs to show a long-term financial commitment if we are to bring the road network to an acceptable standard.”
