In-car technology: your opinion counts
VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS are continually looking for new high-tech ways of keeping us safe on journeys. There are numerous systems with their accompanying acronyms to help us make informed ‘safe’ choices when driving. Where we need a little more help they will take control and provide it. What’s more, some manufacturers are already working towards a future with fully autonomous cars, where there will be no driver input required. The GEM Motoring Assist Road Safety Charity is helping to fund research by Rica, a consumer organisation focusing on work with older and disabled people. Rica is inviting over 55’s to complete an online survey detailing attitude to, and knowledge of, in-car technology.
